This mini excavator moves with the aid of a rubber-crawler. In order to distribute its weight equally across the entire vehicle's base, track rollers simultaneously guide the rubber-crawler sideways.
The harsh working conditions for the excavator undercarriage mean the track rollers are vulnerable to damage. iglide® G300 plastic bushings replaced expensive, grooved ball bearings and substantially increased service life due to their greatly reduced susceptibility to dirt and humidity. This application has been running problem-free and without maintenance for four years.
iglide® G300 is generally recommended whenever an economical, all-round plastic bushing is required.
iglide® G300 withstands extremely high loads and works at low to medium surface speeds. Its maximum short-term temperature is +428°F and it will also function at temperatures as low as -40°F. Even though its compressive strength decreases with increasing temperatures, the permissible surface pressure at the maximum long-term temperature (266°F) still amounts to over 5,802 psi.
iglide® G300 bushings are also extremely resistant to chemicals.
