Problem

Using a driving simulation can present some challenges. The parts used are often too heavy, which leads to increased friction and requires regular maintenance. Lubricants are often used that make it difficult to clean the parts easily.

This creates noise that can make the simulation experience feel unrealistic. The installation is often complicated and not tailored to individual customer requirements. Due to these factors, a long service life is not guaranteed.

Solution

In a driving simulation, various components from igus® are used to implement the movements in the yaw, pitch and roll directions.
